PESDC is accredited by Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK), Perbadanan Tabung Kemahiran (PTPK) and Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB) as the accredited training provider. These are agencies related to Human Resource Ministry.

 

PESDC is overseen by a Management Council comprising 10 elected members; invited government representative and higher education institute as co-opted members.

 

PESDC has been in collaboration with other professional bodies to provide recognized scheme for competence certification e.g.

• Welding              PCN, ASNT

• Automotive        IMI Award, UK

 

Several MoU were inked with institute educations and guilds to enhance closer working relationship and collaboration for the benefit of the industries e.g.

• Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Kampar

• Malaysia Plastic Manufacturers Association (MPMA), Perak

• The Perak Foundry and Engineering Industries Association (PFEIA)

• The Cement and Concrete Association of Malaysia

• FMM Institute, Perak
